About Us

Mullings Soccer was founded on the belief that soccer is more than a game. It is a powerful tool for teaching life skills, building character, and creating positive connections with students. What began as a passion for the sport has grown into a mission-driven program dedicated to mentoring young people through structured, high-quality soccer coaching.

Led by former professional player and experienced coach Shamir Mullings, our work is rooted in real-world experience at every level of the game. With over 15 years of playing experience and more than a decade of coaching, Shamir has worked across school systems, youth programs, club environments, and professional soccer organizations. Today, the program serves students in schools across New York State, reaching hundreds of children each week.

Our approach is intentionally aligned with school values and educational goals. Every session blends technical soccer development with Social-Emotional Learning, helping students build confidence, discipline, teamwork, resilience, and emotional awareness. We focus not only on improving soccer skills, but also on supporting students in becoming respectful teammates, focused learners, and responsible individuals.

We take pride in creating safe, structured, and inclusive environments where students feel supported and challenged. By partnering with schools, administrators, and educators, we aim to strengthen athletic programming while positively impacting student engagement, behavior, and overall well-being.

Our story continues to grow with each student we mentor, each school we support, and each opportunity to use soccer as a pathway for personal growth, academic success, and lifelong development—on and off the field.
